MY STAY AT COVENANT UNIVERSITY

As I look back at my journey in covenant university so far, I can’t help but be filled with unending

gratitude and excitement. Gratitude because what an honor it is to be enrolled in the best

university in Nigeria and the sixth best in sub-saharan Africa, I am filled with joy and hopes of

what is to come. Oh how exciting it is to be unsure of what the future holds, it is the best rush of

adrenaline; looking forward to the finish date one day at a time, one lesson at a time.

I can now say with uttermost certainty that Covenant University was indeed the best decision I

could have made, well the best opportunity that has been given to me by God. I believe that the

core values governing Covenant University is the right tool for shaping the minds of this

generation and the ones to come with Spirituality crowning the list.

Covenant University boasts of a vibrant and visually appealing campus life which I can whole

heartedly say has boosted my valor for both academic and social excellence. Walking to class

has never been more of an adventure with new found sights every day and such beautiful

greenery, making walking to class a thing to look forward to.Socially, such aesthetically

pleasing attractions make it easier to create content for students who are involved in that aspect

of social media.

One of the most significant aspects of my time here has been personal growth and self

realization. Covenant University has a holistic approach to all things, making a relationship with

the Father a beautiful thing to pursue. Each lecture starts with a short prayer, dedicating the

day’s teaching into the hands of God. The lecturers I have encountered have tied their

teachings to the teachings of the Bible and it comes to show how God manifests in every aspect

of human life.

In the short period of time I have spent in Covenant University, I have reached a different phase

of self realization. The orientation held all through week one where the words of different

members of staff and faculty created an image of self-achievement and personal growth in the

minds of those willing to accept it. Speeches ranging from self-understanding, time

management, discipline and lucrative extra curricular activities has helped shape my

perspective on what life at Covenant University promises to be.

Juggling classes, assignments and a social life can be overwhelming but by the grace of God I

have started to find my rhythm. Setting priorities and creating to-do lists have proven to be great

skills for self management and with time management, I believe that at due time I would create

a solid routine for myself at my own pace.

In conclusion, my time spent here at Covenant University has been a fulfilling adventure. I’m

grateful for the experiences I’ve had so far and can’t wait to see how my journey unfolds. This

university feels like the perfect place for me to grow academically and personally, and I’m

excited about the future!
